The Wonder Of A Snowflake
The wonders of nature never cease to amaze us. And since it’s getting to be winter time in most of the northern U.S. we thought this would be a good time to showcase the magic of a simple (or complex) little snowflake.
These images were captured by Russian photographer Alexey Kljatov, who lives in Moscow, and they were taken in his backyard.
Kljatov will normally use a glass surface to hold the snowflake and then light it from behind using an LED flashlight. A macro lens on the camera allows him to shoot the very small flakes with great detail.
It’s been said that there are no two snowflakes alike and that makes each one very special. This series of photographs attest to that!
Be sure to look for, and enjoy, all the magnificent things in your own backyard.
