Tool Review – Husqvarna 350BT Backpack Blower
When it comes to judging a blower, the bottom line is, does it have enough power to do what you want? Whimpy machines end up being almost worthless, and if you always have to worry about a breakdown, that’s not good either.
That’s why we wanted to take a look at this highly rated, gas powered backpack blower from Husqvarna. Does the 350BT pack enough punch to get the job done?
Owner’s comments have been quite positive.
“This Blower would be more than ample for an average yard or commercial use Dailey and does well even on wet leaves. My yard is rather large and many, many leaves for which I have a commercial grade push blower but wanted this for around the shrubs which boarders the property of about 1 acre. Compared to others that are $75.00 less this is the worth the extra money for the better performance and a well-constructed unit with proper care should last 10 yrs. or more.” – Bill B.
“I have had this blower for about 1 month now and all I can say is WOW! I read the instructions and run 93 octane and Husqvarna XP mix. This thing fires on the second pull every time. I did alot of reasearch on this product before buying and as always I am not left down by a Husqvarn product. very comfortable on back and easy to use. With a little care this thing will last a long time.” – Emory W.
” It has started on the first or second pull every time I’ve used it. The blower is comfortable to use, with padded back and straps. The padding does an excellent job of insulating me from both heat and vibration. The joystick throttle is easy to use, and has a thumb switch (which doubles as the off switch) that allows you to hold in the throttle at various speeds (not just full throttle). This helps when I’m using the blower for an extended period of time. It has plenty of power, easily blowing leaves, pine needles, grass clippings, and sand. I’ve even used it to blow cobwebs out of the upper corners of our barn–the third section of pipe was handy for some extra vertical reach in that case.” – David R.
