Off Season Mower Maintenance
With the arrival of cold weather around most of the country, whether you love or hate to mow the grass, you’ll have to take a break.
But this is also a good time cover some usually much needed maintenance on mowers that took a beating during the summer.
This includes pretty much all varieties of mowers, from gas powered models and electrics, to the old fashion push mower. They all benefit from some tender loving care.
For the gas mowers, changing out the spark plug, cleaning the air filter, and oil would be high on the list.
All mowers use some kind of blade to cut with, and the sharper the better, so spend some time here too.
Beyond these common steps, there are other things you can do to get better results with your mower.
You’ll find more details on the GRIT.com website.
