Flowering Plants That Do Well In Shade

Nothing like a good summer sun to really get the flowers blooming.  But not every flower is a sun lover and let’s be honest, sometimes you want to get a few colorful varieties placed in some shady spots too.

There’s good news if this is something you’re looking for, because there are quite a few flowering plants that really do love shady spots.

Here’s a few to look for.

Bee Balm

Gooseneck Loosestrife

Sweet Woodruff

and Solomon’s Seal

Most of these spread around pretty quickly so you may have to do some management down the road but that’s a good problem to have!
