Creating A Log Pathway
A rock pathway can be a really nice accent to a garden area or anywhere in the backyard for that matter.
They’re simple and easy enough to make. If you have a chainsaw or know someone who does, have them cut various sized logs (ideally they’ll be a few larger ones mixed in) and cut them in about 4 inch lengths.
Once cut, you might want to apply a few coats of something like a water-based water proofing solution.
Once laid in place you can add mulch around the cut logs to fill in the area of the pathway. It’s suggested to not use sand because it might prematurely wear down the waterproof surface.
