Backyard Tic-Tac-Toe With Bumblebees and Ladybugs

Back in your younger days, there weren’t many games quite as fun as a competitive round or two of tic-tac-toe.  It was a little easier on the brain for some of us simple thinkers, but it still offered up a good challenge where kids of all ages (even us old kids) had some fun.

But here’s a question.  Have you ever played the game with bumblebees and ladybugs?

Well now you can!  Or for that matter, come up with any two critters for your opposing sides.

This garden game is easy to put together with some rocks, paints, and a flat base of some kind for the board.

In the example here, a cut of log was used and it looks really nice.

Get creative or copy this attractive design and you and your family can enjoy this time-honored game in your backyard!
